Our room was very comfortable, with cosy beds (bonus points for the hot water bottles that made the chilly Bwindi nights so much nicer) and a very spacious shower and bathroom area. Hot water is always available, as is good wifi. Gorgeous views from the balcony.
All staff were lovely and very attentive and we felt very well taken care of. The food was excellent, definitely a notch above most of the other lodges we stayed at during our trip, and the terrace in front of the restaurant a great spot for a drink before or after dinner accompanied by beautiful mountain views. A local women's group visited the lodge in the afternoon after our gorilla tracking and we enjoyed their cheerful dancing and then had the opportunity to buy beautiful handmade baskets directly from the makers - a very nice way to support the local community.
In short, a definite recommendation for Bweza Lodge! 🙂
